The Memorial Park is a special place we hold dear to our hearts here at Kittatinny. It can be found down by the football field. The Memorial Park serves to honor students who have passed away while attending Kittatinny. Each of these students is commemorated with a brick engraved with their name and class year. Students, staff, and members of the community are welcome to visit the Memorial Park in remembrance of the deceased.

Endurance & Triumph
There is a support group at Kittatinny called “Endurance & Triumph.” It was organized several years ago by students who needed help to manage their grief when a fellow student died accidentally. Being able to share emotions with peers helped students overcome a senseless tragedy and enabled them to move on with their lives. Over the years, the E&T group has evolved to deal with not only personal loss due to death, but also reality-based issues such as painful situations or experiences which leave student with feelings of frustration and/or helplessness.
The E&T meetings, which are held during school hours, are not counseling sessions with adults running the show and taking notes. The best way to describe these students is that they join together in search of comradeship through shared emotions and experiences. The only rules they have is the confidentiality that is expected of the members and respect for each other. Please contact the guidance office if you are interested in joining.
