Concurrent Courses
The Concurrent Enrollment Program (CEP) is a partnership between Kittatinny, Sussex County Community College, Stockton University & Syracuse University Project Advance that provides students the chance to enroll in college courses as part of their regular school day.
SCCC Concurrent Enrollment Program
Kittatinny students enrolled in select courses have the opportunity to participate in the Concurrent Enrollment Program affiliated with Sussex County Community College. Students must meet the minimum Accuplacer Scores in order to enroll in the courses as well as have completed the necessary prerequisite concurrent coursework (if required). Please see Concurrent Enrollment Course Program Chart below for the full list of courses and their prerequisites/fees.
The Kittatinny teachers have been approved by SCCC to teach these courses; therefore, students do not have to attend classes at the college in order to receive college credit. Students must earn a grade of at least a “C” in the class.
Tuition: Students are responsible for the tuition if they elect to receive college credit for the course(s). The tuition fees will be paid directly to Sussex County Community College.
**It is the student's responsibility to check if their college/university of choice will accept credits from Sussex County Community College**
